- [Instructor] I'm now going to add the finishing touches to my Mondrian inspired composition. Firstly, I'd like to tidy up my Layers panel. I have my original color layers that I no longer need so I'm going to select these, Command or Control and click on them and then just delete those. With the layers that remain, I will put them into a group, Command, or Control, + g. I'll change their blending mode to Darken. Now I'll select the color filter layer beneath, convert this to a smart object, come to my Filter menu and to Texture, Texturizer. now if you don't have all your filter groups shown you can also get there in the Filter Gallery, so perhaps I'll do it this way, Filter Gallery and to the Texture group, Texturizer, Canvas, scale of 70% and a relief of three. So we should now be able to see the canvas texture within the rectangles. Let's expand that group, first of all selecting the border layer.
