Apply Tilt-Shift Blur filter to blur the background

- [Instructor] Next, I'm going to show you how to blur backgrounds using Photoshop filters. With the blur layer selected, I'm going to go into Filter, Blur Gallery, and I'll select Tilt Shift. This filter will blur the image in a very interesting way. You'll notice two horizontal solid lines. Anything in between these two lines will not have any blur applied to it. Anything from this top solid line to the top dashed line will have a gradual transition between not blurry and blurry. Anything after the dashed line will be completely blurry. The same is true for the solid and dashed line at the bottom. You can control the intensity of the blur by adjusting the blur slider. And in some cases, you might want to increase the Light Boca to apply a Boca effect. Notice that as I increase the blur, the Boca effect intensifies. In this case, I don't need any Boca, so I'm going to reduce this to 0%, and I'll reduce the blur, as…
