Apply global adjustments with Camera Raw

- [Instructor] Next we're going to use Camera Raw to apply a global adjustment. I'm going to select the model layer, then I'm going to hold shift and click on blur to select both layers. Then you can right click and select convert to smart object. This will place both layers into a smart object. Again, a smart object is a container that holds one or more layers and you can apply non-destructive adjustments, distortions, filters, and transformations. And the filter that I'm going to apply now is the camera raw filter. I'm going to go into filter, camera raw filter. This filter allows you to control the color and tonality of your image and also apply effects. And we can treat this photo now as a single image, no longer two layers and that will help us create a more realistic image.
