Applying Auto Color nondestructively

- All right now we're doing pretty good so far. But I think we can do better with the custom application of auto color. You can see it right there as a non-destructive adjustment layer. And I guarantee you this is not a feature you're going to discover on your own. There are many secret handshakes inside Photoshop. This one is a secret passageway. And what it allows me to do is define the colors of the rocks. So in the previous movie we made them look kind of a yellowish brown. In this movie we'll make up our own color. All right so I'll go ahead and switch over to the uncorrected version of the photograph. And notice if I go up to the image menu and choose the auto color command that I get a halfway decent effect. It's not what I want but it's pretty darn good. The problem is it's not as good as what I got with the camera raw filter. And it's likewise a destructive modification.
