- [Narrator] All right, now I'm going to take down the brightness and contrast of this particular puffin image using a dynamic adjustment layer. All right, so if I switch back to the image from the previous movie and I press Ctrl + Z or Command + Z on the Mac, I can return to the original version of the image and then if I press Ctrl + Shift + C or Command + Shift + C on the Mac, I can redo the modification. So, with the exception of being able to undo and redo, this is a permanent modification to the image. That is each and every pixel has actually been modified and such a change is technically known as a destructive one. Not because we've destroyed the image, we've actually enhanced it, we've made it better, but rather because we have actually permanently modified pixels. Compare that with assigning a dynamic adjustment layer instead, adjustment layers are known as non destructive modification. And you apply them in…
