Applying global refinements
- [Narrator] In this movie I'll show you how to work with the four global refinement values. So here we are, still inside the selected mask work space, and notice over here on the far right hand side of the screen, we have a very large properties panel. Which contains three sets of options that you can twirl open and closed. Very likely you'll see global refinements expanded, as we're seeing here, but at anytime you like you can collapse the options by twirling them closed. All right, so we'll go ahead and open this guy up. And notice that we've got smooth, feather, contrast, and shift edge. All of which you can use independently, or in tandem with each other. Now they all affect the selection outline in ways that we're not gonna be able to make out when we're viewing the selection as marching ants. So I'm gonna go ahead and change that view option to either on white, could work if this were a darker subject, but because her sleeves are so very light, I'm gonna switch to on black like…
