Assigning and converting color profiles

- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show you how to assign a color profile to an image as well as convert the image from one color space to another. So let's say for whatever reason I'm unhappy with the fact that this image is profiled sRGB I want it to be Adobe RGB instead. Well there's two ways to work. One is you could go to the Edit menu and choose Assign Profile and notice if you install dekeKeys I've given it a short of Control + Alt + F2 or Command + Option + F2 on the Mac. At which point you'll probably see a warning that tells you that changing the document profile can affect the appearance of layers which is absolutely true. For now, just go ahead and click OK. And now notice what happens. Currently the profile is set to sRGB. You want your Preview checkbox to be turned on. Notice what happens if I switch it to this setting right here.
