- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at a hidden automatic correction feature that's a bit more sophisticated as well. And that's auto brightness contrast. So here I am looking at the bills over here on the right-hand side, and I'm thinking, gee whiz that auto contrast has these nice, hefty shadows where as the shadows are pretty light in the auto color version. And so I figure I might as well combine these two features together. And so I'll go ahead and select the auto color layer and then I'll go up to the image menu and choose auto contrast. And it does nothing as you can see right here. And that's it because each one of these commands does its own thing based on the contents of the color channel. But you're not generally going to follow up one with another. Instead, what you might do is back up to adjustments here and then choose the first command brightness contrast from this long sub menu.
