Auto-aligning multiple exposures

- [Instructor] Photoshop makes it very easy to automatically align layers when we're compositing. With the two wave layers selected, I'll use tools and then Photoshop, and then load files into Photoshop layers in order to open them both into the same document. Unfortunately, we can see when I toggle the visibility of waves 01 that it is nowhere near in alignment of the layer below it. So with both layers selected in the layers panel, I can choose edit and then auto align layers. I'll go ahead and choose the auto projection, but you can also select from perspective or any of these additional options. There isn't any vignetting to remove, so I'm going to leave that off as well as the geometric distortion, but you can enable both of those. They will take a little bit more time in order to do the math. I'll click OK and Photoshop has repositioned these, and now if I toggle on and off, we can see that it has aligned them.…
