Auto-blending multiple depths of field

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to automatically blend two or more photos captured with different depths of field. So, in our case, we have this museum display of these ancient Roman coins, along with this caption that tells us that the coins were minted to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the founding of Rome. But, in fact, I captured these photographs in two separate passes. So, first, I focused on a caption, which was about six inches away from the camera, and then, I focused on these foreground coins, which were only about two inches away. Now, I should mention a couple of things. First of all, even though I have just two photographs, you can have many more, in which case, you'll end up with more objects in focus in your final composition. Also, if you're working along with me, and want to achieve the same results, then the caption photograph has to be open first. And the photograph with the coins in focus has to be opened second.
