Auto-extracting assets into a new library

- [Narrator] In this movie, I'll show you how to automatically extract all possible assets from a layered composition to a new library. For starters, I'll go up to the File menu and choose the Open command. And then I'll locate this file right here, Touch little car.psd. It contains Smart Objects, editable text and some advanced blending options, all of which can be extracted as assets. I'll go ahead and click the Open button. At which point, by default, we're presented with this wildly colorful, and I would say highly intrusive dialogue box, that is pushing the Library function. But it does helpfully tell us that we can extract character styles from a single layer of editable text. We can also extract colors from both text layers and vector shape layers. In my case, we only have one of those. We can extract two layer styles. The thing to bear in mind about layer styles is we're talking about both, layer effects and blending options.
