Auto made better (Brightness/Contrast, Levels, and Curves)

- Okay, the next myth I wanna dispel is around Auto. Auto promises to solve a lot of problems really quickly and automatically, and I think people are skeptical of it because of that. But let's take this image here, and I wanna talk about four different places where Auto just works, and it didn't used to. The first place would be Camera Raw. Now, this is a PSD, but I can open that in Camera Raw as a filter. Okay, image looks decent, if I come over here and click Auto, I'm gonna notice that not only does the image look a lot better, but Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, and the White slider have all moved automatically. I've got a great starting point, it's a fantastic inroad to adjusting the image. If I wanna adjust the highlights a bit more, maybe back down the exposure, I can quickly and easily do that.
