- [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to be addressing the ever-important topic of focus, and we'll specifically target on the auto-focus modes. So now tell us, Hergen, in your words, why in the world focus is so important when you're photographing underwater? - [Hergen] One of the biggest reasons is you're going to want to show the viewer what they should be looking at. And underwater, this can be quite a challenge because, most of the times, the viewer's not familiar with the type of subject matter that you're photographing.
