- Using adjustment layers in Photoshop can be a great way to create vivid and interesting color in your photographs. Well in this weeks episode of Photo Tools Weekly, we're going to look at how we can do that with a recent portrait that I captured of a local artist. So if you are ready, let's dive right in, here goes. For this one, we'll start off here in Lightroom and then finish up with adjustment layers in Photoshop, yet before we get to that, let me show you a few of the images and outtakes from the shoot so you can get to know Wallace. Here he is in front of his art, he's really an intense guy, and what I want to do is try to create a photograph of him which has colors which match that. And here, they're just some of the outtakes, these aren't necessarily the keepers, you get a sense on who this guy is. Tattoos all over his arms, his artwork, I dunno, it is just so colorful and so interesting, and finally I got this one shot where he's locked onto the camera. So this is the image…
