- [Instructor] There will be times when you want to change the generic name assigned to your files by your camera or perhaps you want to rename files in a particular sequence. Well. You can address this at time of download, if you are using the Photo Downloader and you can choose to rename your files by the shot date, by a custom name, or a combination of shot date and custom name, but if you already have the files on your hard drive, then we need to use the Batch Rename command. Now, if you needed to rename multiple files without this, it would be a really tedious and onerous task but this feature in Bridge makes it really, really simple. The thing to keep in mind is that you may need to, at some point, restore that original filename and Bridge, thankfully, let's us do that. So, I'm gonna select, fairly randomly, a sequence of images, here, and let's say I want to rename these. Now, I can move them to another folder, I can copy them to another folder, or I can just rename them where…
