Beveling your shapes with Pillow Emboss

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to style our shapes with these beveled edges, and we're going to do so using layer effects, which we'll be talking about in a future chapter that's not far away at all. All right, so, I'll go ahead and switch over to my base layers, and with the star layer selected, I'll drop down to the fx icon at the bottom of the Layers panel and click on it. And then, I'll go ahead and choose this command Bevel Emboss, which is really supposed to read Bevel and Emboss, but the ampersand fell off. Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and choose the command, and here are the settings I'm looking for. We want a style of Pillow Emboss, and what that does is it creates a light edge on one side and a dark edge on the other of this star shape right here. We want the depth to be 100%, the direction should be up. I'm looking for a size value of 10 pixels. The Angle and Altitude are just fine as is, which are 35 and 30 degrees respectively.
