The Black and White Point eyedroppers
- [Narrator] In this movie, we'll increase the contrast of our alpha channel, once again using the levels command, which includes those black-point and white-point eyedroppers and we'll also invert the channel as well. So, it's stuff that we've seen before but it's worth reviewing and it must be done. Alright so, because this is another significant operation, I'm gonna grab this alpha channel and I'm gonna drag it and drop it onto the little page icon to make a copy of it. Now, I didn't press the alt-key or the option-key on the Mac in order to name the channel, because so far I don't know what to call it. And I won't know until I apply some values from the levels dialogue box. As in the case of this channel right here. Alright so, I'll go ahead and switch to the channel I just copied and then I'll go up to the image menu, choose adjustments and choose the levels command, or you have that default keyboard shortcut of CNTRL-L or CMD-L on the Mac.
