Blending hair into a nighttime sky

- [Lecturer] Alright, at this point, things are looking pretty good, but we still have some obvious haloing around the hair and we've got these bad edges around the neck and shoulders as well, which is why in this movie, we're going to do a better job of blending this guy against this night-time background. And we're going to do so in part by once again enlisting the help of the select and mask command. Well, we're going to start things off by fixing the next and shoulders and the easiest way to do this is with the smudge tool and you can get to the smudge tool by clicking and holding on the blur tool right here and choosing the smudge tool from the fly-out menu and the idea behind the smudge tool is it allows you to smear things inside the image. Naturally, we don't want to do that. We want to smear things around a little bit inside the mask and so I'll go ahead and click on the layer mask thumbnail here inside the layers panel and then I'll dramatically increase the size of my…
