Bolstering hair with an Overlay layer

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to make this hair look a heck of a lot better by duplicating the layer, modifying the layer mask, and applying the Overlay blend mode. And so, the first thing I'm going to do is jump a copy of this layer, just by pressing Control J, or Command J on a Mac, and then I'll drop down to the lower of the two layers, right click on the vector base layer mask, and choose Delete Vector Mask to get rid of it. Then, right click on the Layer Mask thumbnail, and choose Delete Layer Mask to get rid of it. And now, let's zoom out just a little bit, here. And what I want to do is create a kind of halo of hair, Just something very rough, by first masking the entire layer away, which you can do by pressing the Alt key, or the Option key on the Mac, and clicking on the Add Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.
