- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how to create a better hair mask. And just in case you're curious whether this Focus Area mask is going to work well for this guy's hair, let's go ahead and load it up as a Layer Mask by pressing the Control key, or the Command key on the Mac, and clicking on that Focus Area channel. And then switch back over to the Layers panel, and with the "middle guy" layer selected, drop down to the Add Layer Mask icon and click on it. And as you can see, even though his face looks OK, his shirt's looking alright, as well, the top of his hair, in particular, looks like it was cut out with a pair of dull scissors, which is not the effect we're looking for. I'm gonna undo the creation of that layer mask just by pressing Control + D, or Command + D on the Mac, and I'm also going to go ahead and deselect this image. And I'll switch back to the Channels panel. And notice I called this channel "focus area." I want to go ahead and call it "focus area…
