- [Instructor] Another advantage of using libraries to store your assets is that you can work with Library Linked Smart Objects so that if you make an update to the smart object, all of the instances of that smart object in all of your other documents can be easily updated. Let's take a look at how this would work. I have a layer group here. The campfire layer group, it has three shape layers within it and I'm going to drag and drop it to my route 66 library. If you didn't follow along in that video, you can just use the fly out menu and create a new library. I'll drag and drop this over and Photoshop will create a graphic for me. Now let's close this document and I'm going to create a new document at the default Photoshop size. And then I'm going to drag the graphic from my libraries panel into this new document. I'm also going to transform it. So I'll use Command + T on Mac or Ctrl + T on windows, and I'll just…
