Camera Raw’s Spot Removal tool

- [Instructor] Now I'll show you how to use the spot removal tool inside Camera Raw. Which was not originally intended to be a retouching tool. It was intended to get rid of spots that might be on your lens element. However, it just so happens to be a great retouching tool. So here I am inside Adobe Bridge, looking at this DNG file, which most definitely did not come from the DreamsTime image library. And so I'll go ahead and right click on its thumbnail and choose open in Camera Raw. Or you have the keyboard shortcut of CTRL + R or CMD + R on the Mac. And now I'm going to go ahead and zoom in on this detail next to my eye right here, between my eye and my nose. And I'm zoomed all the way in to 100%, by the way. At which point I'll go ahead and switch to the spot removal tool up here in the horizontal tool bar. Notice that it has a keyboard shortcut of B, just like the brush tool.
