- [Instructor] I'm calling this movie capture rock convert to DNG because that's what I recommend you do. And so let's start with an overview of the file formats that we first saw in chapter one. By now, you know, that you can open a JPEG file inside Camera Raw. The same goes for TIFF files. And so if I were to right click on this thumbnail you can see that I have this open in Camera Raw command. Camera Raw does not support layers, so I can't open native PSD files. And for whatever reason, it can't open PING files either. And so notice if I were to right click on this thumbnail there is no open with Camera Raw command. So JPEGs and TIFFs. And then there's another group of file formats that Camera Raw was born to edit. And those are photographs captured to your camera's raw image file format. And so notice if I were to select this JPEG file, we can see in the file properties over here in the metadata panel, that we have a…
