- [Voiceover] In this movie, we'll take a look at how you might go about seeking out the details in your under water macro scenes, in order to essentially find the macro within the macro. So the idea here is, you might look at this thing and think oh my gosh it's just beautiful, but the truth is that this brown-lined paperbubble is just another undersea slug, and so let's say that you feel like you've hunted down enough of these, well then get closer. And by this we mean, really, super close. If for nothing else but the sake of variety, try focusing in on an exotic or overlooked detail that brings out the otherworldly nature of your subject. - [Voiceover] So here we've got a coconut octopus and he's crawling out of his shell, and if you've spent some time in Lembeh Strait in Indonesia you probably have a pretty good amount of photos of these. So, this is a good example of what to do when you're shooting yet another coconut octopus. So, get closer and maybe even throw in a little…
