Capturing paterns, colors, gradients, and shapes from an image

- [Instructor] The libraries panel has a fast and easy way to create patterns and shapes, color themes, and gradients from an image. On the libraries panel, I'm going to create a new library and I'll call it Sunflower and then click create. Then from the bottom of the layers panel, I'll choose the plus icon and choose create from image. Now, because I had the background layer selected, it's going to automatically use the contents of that layer, but I can always click the plus icon and choose any image. We'll start with patterns. There are a number of different pattern options on the right-hand side. So we can just click through those in order to experiment. We can also change the color mode if we wanted this to be a grayscale pattern, but I'm going to keep it in color. Then I'll use the scale option to scale the image in the preview area.
