Chain brush

- [Instructor] For the last brush, let's take a photograph of a chain and turn it into a brush. First we need to do Image, Adjustments, Desaturate, as always, and then we're going to run levels, Image, Adjustments, Levels, and we're going to kick up the white and we're really going to kick up the black because we want those chains, right? And the black part of a brush is the opaque part that's going to show up, so we want to get it fairly dark, otherwise we'll have a very transparent chain. Now we only need one single repeat, so it's only going to be one link of the chain that we need. So I'm going to take white, I'm going to grab a hard round paintbrush, and I'm going to paint out the part we don't need. So we're going to get rid of this and we're going to get rid of all of this. So I'll make my brush a little smaller and I'm going to paint out all but one link of the chain. Now that I have a single link, I'm going to select it and Edit, Define Brush Preset.
