And we're going to start things off in this movie by taking a look at some challenges and solutions. This'll help us establish the reasons that we need specialized gear. So, challenge number one is the water itself. Water tends to be very bad for cameras, and that goes doubly so for salt water. - [Guest] So, your pro level DSLR maybe weather-sealed, and sure, you can take it out and shoot in a rain storm, but if you drop it in the ocean. So, our solution to that problem is watertight underwater housings. So, these can be constructed from a variety of materials, but they all basically serve the same function. To keep your camera equipment dry while still giving you access to all the controls that you need.
