- [Chris] Hi, I'm Chris, and welcome to another Photo Tools Weekly quick tip. In this episode, we are going advanced with color in Lightroom. Here we're going to take a look at a technique which involves three steps, creating a virtual copy, modifying color, and then combining two different images together inside of Photoshop. All right, well, step one is to create a virtual copy. We have a photograph right here in the Filmstrip. Right-click or Control-click, and then choose from the menu Create Virtual Copy. This gives us another version of the image. Next, let's modify the color of this version of the photograph. And in this version, I want to change the background to blue. To do that, we'll use our HSL controls. Over here, underneath Hue, we can click on this icon here, the Targeted Adjustment tool and then click and drag, and I'm dragging up in order to change the color of background.
