Change the color of an object in a photo
- [Instructor] Here's a quick way to change the color of an object in a photo without having to make a selection. Go to the bottom of the layers panel and click the create new adjustment layer icon, and choose hue saturation. That adds a hue saturation adjustment layer above the photo layer. And up in the properties panel, it brings up the controls for color hue, saturation, and other color properties. Notice the hand icon at the top of the properties panel. Click that icon to activate the targeted adjustment tool. Let's say you want to change the color of this yellow car to red. Hold down the command key on Mac, that's the control key on Windows, and press and drag to the left. Now do the same thing again, this time without holding the command or control key, and that reduces the saturation of this range of colors.
