- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll discuss how you go about selecting the color space you want to work with, which is known in Photoshop as the working color space. We'll be focusing on RGB, where you have two main options, sRGB as by default, and the larger Adobe RGB. But in order to understand what's going on, we have to be able to see the colors. So this case, we're looking at that color wheel from Chapter 8 of the Fundamentals course and as you may recall, it allows us to view variations in hue and saturation. So just to jog your memory here, we're seeing the various hues around the perimeter of the circle and then we're seeing variations in saturation going from pure color around the perimeter all the way to no saturation whatsoever at the center. And when you have no saturation, you get gray. However, in order to understand the color spaces, we're going to have to map these colors differently.
