- [Instructor] All right, so I'm a pretty big fan of levels where correcting photographs is concerned but there are those who would argue that you're better off using Camera Raw, for example, which is undeniably more powerful and that's the reason I showed it to you first, back in the Fundamentals course. But the thing you have to bear in mind, is that a Levels Adjustment Layer is really lean, it adds almost nothing to your file size. Whereas if you apply Camera Raw, especially as a smart filter, it's going to balloon your file sizes like crazy. So, it's really up to you how you work. But that said, there is nothing like levels for design work, which is why in this movie, I'm going to show you how to use the Levels Adjustment to clean up a piece of scanned line art. So this is a drawing that I made back in my starving graphic artist years. And the thing you need to know about it, is that it's not a pencil drawing, it's an ink drawing.
