Color Grading with the Camera Raw filter

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how we can color grade, which is just another term for applying color effects, or a color look, to an image using the Camera Raw filter. Now, there are other ways to do this. One way would be to come to the adjustment layers and choose Color Lookup, or we can apply Color Lookup as a smart filter. I will of course need to first convert my background layer into a smart object. I should mention at this point that had this image begun as a Raw file, I could have opened it in Photoshop as an object. But just so that we can save on file size, I'm using a reduced-size version of the original. So now this is a smart object, I could come to the Image menu and to Adjustments, and choose Color Lookup right here, and we have a number of pre-defined looks. Moonlight, for example. Now those are interesting, and definitely worth checking out, but I'm going to do it through the Camera Raw filter. So I'll come to the Filter menu and choose Camera…
