Color basics
- [Narrator] There are a number of ways to select colors in Photoshop. So we're going to take the next few minutes to look at a few of them, and then you can pick your favorite. So the first way would be using the color picker from the toolbar. You can either click on the upper swatch, just select your foreground color or the lower swatch to select your background color. If you've been following along, we assigned N as a shortcut to show the color picker. So we can just tap that and it will appear, that you can change the saturation and the brightness in the color preview area. Or you can use the little elevator over here in order to change the hue. If you prefer to change color, using a different color model, you can click on any of the other buttons in order to change the appearance of the color picker for now, I'll set it back to hue.
