Combining Live Shapes and Smart Objects

- [Instructor] In the next few minutes we're going to take a look at how we can take advantage of smart objects, as well as the live shape properties in order to work with a number of shapes yet keep their editing of those shapes as flexible as possible. So I need to create a new guide layout, but I want to set my units of measurement to pixels so in the properties panel I'll make sure under ruler and guides I set that to pixels. Then when I choose view and new guide layout, all of the units of measurement will already be set to pixels. I want to set this up so that there are three columns and three rows with a gutter of 60 pixels, as well as a margin for top left bottom and right to 60 pixels. Then I'll tap the U key in order to select the rectangle shaped tool and I'm going to click and drag out my first shape.
