Correcting a distorted horizon
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to correct this distorted horizon. And we'll also balance out the luminous levels along with the colors, so the image doesn't appear as washed out. Now, one way that Adobe recommends you correct distorted panoramas is to go up to the Filter menu and choose Adaptive Wide Angle. But for this particular image, it just doesn't work. As you can see here, at least automatically, it goes ahead and increases the bulge associated with that horizon line, which is obviously not what we want. Now we will be seeing more of this filter later. But for now, I'm just going to go ahead and cancel out. And that's because where panoramas are concerned I prefer to correct the distortion using the Transform tool inside Camera Raw. And you can do that by going to the Filter menu and choosing Camera Raw Filter. Or you have the shortcut of Control + Shift + A, or Command + Shift + A on a Mac. And then, I'll just go ahead and zoom in on that horizon by clicking…
