Correcting for lens distortion

- Now, I'll show you the very first thing I want you to do when you're editing your images in Camera Raw. Don't get distracted by the first panel of options. Skip over to the sixth panel, which is lens correction. And so notice here I have two versions of this Utah vista image: One saved as a JPEG file with eight bits of data per channel per pixel; and one saved as a DNG with 14 bits of data per channel per pixel. Now, if we selected both of them and then pressed the space bar here inside the Bridge, in order to enter the full screen mode, here's the DNG files, and here's the JPEG. So, they look the same. However, they edit very differently. Now, I want you to see that this is a wide angle shot that I captured with a focal length of 10 millimeters, so the horizon is bending.
