Create a Radial Blur

- [Instructor] In this movie, I will use the radial blur filter to convert this guy into a guitar hero. First thing I want to do is convert the background layer to a smart object, then come to the filter menu, to blur, and radial blur. This is a very old filter. There's no preview except this proxy here, which you can move around to determine the blur's center, but then you can't see that preview on the image, so it is a bit hit and miss. We have two options, a spin or a zoom, and we're going to use a zoom. The spin method has been superseded by the spin blur, which is now a part of the blur gallery, and I will use the best quality at an amount of 100. So, let's estimate this to be in the middle. I'll click okay, and there is my result. I now want to paint onto my filter mask so that I can restore important parts of the image.
