- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to use the stamp filter to create this simple and bold illustration. Starting with this, our source image, the first thing I want to do is convert my background layer to a smart object. Now, we're going to run into some issues with the stamp filter. Let's just go ahead and apply it. First of all, the stamp filter, like all of those in the sketch group with the exception of water paper, will use your foreground and background colors, and if I wanted my outline to be in the color, I could choose that color as my foreground color, but I've actually, even though I do want my outline to be in a color, I'm actually going to start out with black, and I'll show you how we can color the outline later on as a separate step in a way that is more flexible. So, that's the first point. So, I'm going to set my foreground, background colors back to black and white.
