- [Instructor] I'd like to show you how we can combine Illustrator and Photoshop to create a seamlessly repeating pattern. Here, in Illustrator, I've created this geometric pattern using the transform live effect. If I press Command A to select everything on my art board, we see that we have just two circles. I'll select one of those, come to the appearance panel, and transform is applied. Transform is available under effect, distort and transform, transform. Now, to re-visit how much was applied to this object, I'll click on transform on the appearance panel. We can see that I am scaling each copy by one hundred and six percent. I'm rotating by five degrees, moving by point six of a millimeter, and I have three hundred and fifty-nine copies, giving me a total of three hundred and sixty. A very light-weight of stroke is applied to the object, and then, I simply duplicated this and applied a different color for the yellow spiral. So now, I want to take this and put it in Photoshop…
