- [Instructor] In this movie, we are going to see how we can use the graphic pen filter to create this style of portrait. Now, before we do, I would like you to buy into my premise that using this in a customized way is going to yield a better result then using the off the peg default settings, so this is, what you're seeing is my customized version. If I come over and hide that group, there are the default settings, and I think these look too generic, too much like somebody's just thrown a Photoshop filter at the image without much consideration, and this is really what we want to avoid, I think. So, it's a bit more work, but not too much more, and the result, I think, is a whole lot better. Starting here with my beginning file, the first thing I want to do is remove the background from the equation, because I think the background is just going to confuse things.
