- Next, we're going to add text to this design. From the toolbar, select the Horizontal Type Tool. Then from the options bar, you can set the typeface, I will use Arial, since it's a font that most people watching this video will have installed on their computers. I'll also use italics, for now, this font size will work, also make sure to select smooth and click on the text-align center button. If you don't have white selected, make sure that you set your text color to white. Then click inside of the rectangle and type the words "swipe up". Click on the check mark to commit the text, notice that my text is quite small. From the Properties panel, you can increase the font size by dragging on the label. Then scroll down and under type options, click on the all caps icon to make all the letters uppercase.
