Creating Photoshop actions
- [Chad] Actions in Photoshop are a way to repeatedly repeat the same tasks or commands to an image with the click of a button. Whether you're applying effects to a photo, or adjustments of various kinds, actions make very quick work, and avoid manually performing multiple steps for each image. Now I'm starting here with the baseball image open on my screen. And to record an action, we're going to go to the Window menu and choose Actions, and that's going to open up our Actions panel. Now, you are provided with a bunch of default actions, and you can play around with these as you wish. You know, the way actions work is you select an action and hit the play button, and then it basically executes that particular action in your file. So gives you a lot of flexibility. And there's some fun stuff in here you can experiment with. Now I'm just going to choose File Revert, 'cause I wanan create my own action.
