Creating animated GIF files
- It's really easy to create animated GIFs in Photoshop. For this series of images, I set the camera on a tripod and just photographed straight down on the bowl of plums. And then I took a photograph and moved the plums a little bit, took another photograph and continued doing that until the plums had hopped out of the bowl and appeared to move across the surface all by themselves. Well, this is an example of stop motion. The same technique can be used with ad banners or whatever it is you want to animate. So I want to select all of the files here. I'll select the first one and then hold down the shift key and select them all in Bridge. Then in order to open them all into a single document, I'll choose tools, Photoshop, and then load files into Photoshop layers. We can see in the layers panel, there are all of the different layers.
