- [Narrator] All right now the problem with our shark is that he way exceeds the confines of the sign which is why we need to contain our shark using a layer mask and as you may recall, this is the layer mask right here and you can hide the layer mask by shift clicking on it and then shift click again in order to bring it back. All right but the question of course, is how do you create such a thing? Well the first thing we want to do is switch over to our image at hand and I want to use the boundaries of the cliff layer as that layer mask and so notice, if I right click on the thumbnail for the cliff layer, then I've got this command right here, Select Pixels, which is going to go ahead and select the contents of that layer even though it's hidden. All right and I want to show you another way to work however so I'm going to go ahead and deselect the image. I can do that just by undoing the selection by pressing control Z…
