Creating a blurry vignette with Iris Blur

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll surround this guy's face with a blurry vignette using another one of the Blur Gallery filters, known as Iris Blur. Now, of course, I want to apply Iris Blur as an editable Smart Filter, but I want to do so to the entire composition, every single layer in the stack. And so, I could convert the whole thing to a Smart Object, by going up to the Select menu and choosing All Layers, and then, I could click on the Layers panel fly-out menu and choose Convert to Smart Object, and you may wonder, why don't I just right click inside the Image window with the Rectangular Marquee tool like I normally do, and that's because the Convert to Smart Object command is missing, by virtue of the fact that some of these layers are already Smart Objects. Now again, I could convert the whole stack to a Smart Object. The problem is, then I lose access to these individual layers, and I create a much more complicated image from Photoshop's perspective, one that's likely to…
