Creating custom trees
- [Instructor] There are an infinite number of possibilities when rendering trees in Photoshop. In this image, we can preview some of the different possibilities, so we can create different types of trees, like a redwood tree or an Aspen or a willow tree, and we can also change the branch height. We can create custom colors for both the leaves, as well as the trunks, and we can change the number of leaves as well as the size of the leaves. We can actually mix and match the different leaf type with the different trunks, and if we want a more illustrative look, we can flatten out the shading. We can also randomize the shapes, so that every time I make a new tree, it's completely different from the previous one. In order to do this, I will create a new document by choosing File and then New. I'll select the default Photoshop size, but I'll change the background contents to black and then click Create.
