- In this segment, we'll look at how we can use adjustment levels and masking in order to finish off this project. All right, well let's begin by reordering our layers. I want to have the layer which has sort of what I'm considering my base exposure below, so that's going to be at the very bottom. Now, one of the things I want to do with this is I want to fine tune the color even further and an adjustment I like to do in order to do that is to click on the black and white adjustment layer icon and then change this to a soft light blending mode. When you do that, it creates this really kind of muted type of a look. We can control brightness of different areas if we want to, and we can also control the overall intensity. Here, I'll just drop this down, not quite that dark, but I do like this muted color pallette. I'm looking for creating sort of an edgy, I think, highly commercially viable type of image out of an iPhone photograph, right? So I'm trying to craft that unique look in the…
