- [Narrator] We're now going to create a guide layout for the active area. You need to make sure first of all, that your rulers are showing inside of Photoshop command. R or control R is the toggle for the rulers. And if you've been working through this course sequentially, you will need to right click here and change the units to pixels. Once you've done that, make your way up to the view menu and come down to new guide layout. Now, the chances are that again, if you're working through this sequentially, then your rule of thirds grid is selected here. But we'll change this to custom. And in the number of columns, we're going to type six in there. We can turn off the rows by the way because we're not going to use them in this particular instance. And in the gutter field, we're going to type 20 PX in there, just to make sure we're getting them actually as pixel measurements rather than anything else. Then we're…
