- Hello and welcome to another episode of Photo Tools Weekly thanks so much for joining me. In this week's episode we're going to talk about how we can create a luminous or interesting black and white portrait. We'll start off by talking a little bit about the context of how the photograph was made. Then we'll jump right in, do a little bit of cropping, do the black and white conversion of course. And then look at how we can fill in the background with a solid tone to make the image a little bit more interesting. Alright well if you are ready, let's dive right in. Here goes. For this example we'll start off by looking at a few photographs and then we'll talk about how we can do some work in Lightroom, and then finish things off in Photoshop.
