- [Instructor] All right, now let's talk about how to save the file and how to use your file for layout. The first thing is you want to save this file just the way it is with all the layers in it, because that's the file that you're going to need to go back and make edits if necessary. So you never want to merge this file, rasterize this file, you want to keep it always a Photoshop file, which is a PSD when you save it, and you want all the layers. So that's really important to do. But if I want to take this and put it on another page for layout I need to do something else to it. So let's first set up a layout page. I'm going to open up a new page. We'll just use a print size page I guess. I've got the Resolution at 300. We'll click Create. And I'm just going to put a gradient. How about just a nice, soft kind of blue gray gradient here?
